Individual Meetings

If you have any worries or questions during your stay in Japan, CIEE Division of Student Exchange educators are here to help.

You can ask for an individual meeting about:

• life in Japan
• university classes
• study concerns
• mental health
• health-related worries
• any other difficulties you may have

Please feel free to contact the OUSSEP Office directly.

At the beginning of each semester, we may also ask you to complete a short check-in form or survey. This helps us understand how you are doing and provide support when needed. We will inform you when the survey is available.

Health, Counseling, and Accessibility Support

If you are facing academic, personal, health-related, or mental health difficulties, you can contact the Health and Counseling Center (HaCC). HaCC provides health consultations, student counseling, accessibility support, and harassment counseling. Consultations are confidential, and English support is also available. 

For reasonable accommodation or accessibility support, please contact HaCC directly. If you are unsure where to ask, you may also contact the OUSSEP Office first.

Harassment-related consultations are also handled by HaCC. Confidential consultations can be arranged through the Harassment Counseling Office.
