Office for International Strategic Planning

  • Collection and analysis of data related to international relations, and dissemination of information to relevant departments.
  • Strategic planning for the recruitment of international students and dispatching students abroad.
  • Planning and negotiating strategic partnerships with overseas universities, beginning with Global Knowledge Partners.

Center for Overseas Operations

Division of Overseas Centers

  • Functions as an “embassy” of the university’s Overseas Centers.
  • Establishes/enhances local networks.
  • Local PR, information gathering and analysis, talent search and tracking, support for securing overseas funding, and collaboration with alumni associations.

Division of Overseas Campuses

  • Promotes the ASEAN Campus Project (development of collaborative education programs and partnership platforms).

Center for International Education and Exchange

Division of International Student Support

  • International student life cycle support (enhancing accessibility through a university-wide platform, data utilization, etc.).
  • Strengthens collaboration with local communities.
  • Promotes a multicultural and inclusive campus (including Faculty Development and Staff Development).
  • Develops/implements career education and support programs for international students.

Division of Japanese Language Education

  • Revises university-wide Japanese language education programs utilizing ICT and builds learning support systems.
  • Provides Japanese language education and learning support for all international students, international researchers, and their families.

Division of Student Exchange

  • Strategic design, development, improvement, and quality assurance of university-wide student exchange and international education programs, including collaborative multicultural education.
  • Expands study abroad opportunities for domestic students (information dissemination and support improvement).

Global Admissions Support Office(GASO)

  • Recruits international students and distributes PR to overseas students through the university’s overseas centers and campuses.
  • Participates in study abroad fairs and marketing data analysis.
  • Centralized pre-application support desk for degree-seeking students, research students, etc.
  • Admission support (matching with academic advisors, application document review, security export control checks, etc.).

Support Office for International Students and Scholars

  • Support for visa applications, housing information, post-arrival orientation, and other assistance for all international researchers and students.
