Information Room for International Students (IRIS)

  • Open to international students on each campus as a space for exchange, consultation, information and guidance, and a place to hold events.
  • The place for many international students, Japanese students, faculty and administrative staff of Osaka University, international researchers and their families, as well as host families and volunteers of local communities visit and meet through many kinds of international exchange activities.

Request for Donations to Support IRIS (Information Room for International Student) Activities

This initiative aims to support the activities of IRIS, Information Room for International Student, Center for International Education and Research, Institute for International Initiatives, the University of Osaka, in order to promote international exchange and provide support for international students.

IRIS fosters multicultural understanding by offering Japanese language education and opportunities for interaction to more than 2,600 international students, while also engaging in community-based collaboration.
