Academic Calendar

The University of Osaka follows a four-term academic calendar. The academic year is divided into four terms, and each term consists of approximately eight weeks, including the examination period.

Inter-Campus Shuttle Bus

The University of Osaka provides a free inter-campus shuttle bus service connecting the Toyonaka, Suita, and Minoh campuses. Students may use the shuttle bus when attending classes, extracurricular activities, or education and research-related activities on another campus.

Online Systems (KOAN & CLE)

• Learning Management System: CLE

CLE is the University of Osaka’s online learning management system. Many courses use CLE to share class materials, announcements, assignments, and other important information.

Course registration information is linked to CLE automatically. After registering for a course, students can usually access the course page from the following day.

Students can access CLE through My Handai or directly from the CLE website.
