On Thursday, April 23, 2026, from 12:10 p.m., OUISA held its first Spanish Café of the semester at IRIS. Seven international students participated.

For the participants, it was a meaningful time in which they enjoyed conversations in a familiar language, while also making new connections.

The event is planned to be held every fourth Thursday during the lunch break, so please feel free to join us.

On Monday, May 18, starting at 5:30 p.m., B.S.P. Minoh hosted a wagashi-making event. A total of 11 students participated, including 6 international students and 5 local students. With support from B.S.P. members, participants tried making strawberry daifuku and shiratama (sweet rice dumplings). Through making wagashi, participants actively interacted with one another, making it a meaningful opportunity for international exchange.

May 16th (Sat.), 2026, 14:00-“Picnic Event-Tsurumi Ryokuchi Park” was held by B.S.P.Toyonaka. The number of participants was 19 international students and 14 local students. They enjoyed some activities such as Keidoro (a popular Japanese game of tag), a scavenger hunt and other games. The event was a great off-campus opportunity for them with the nice weather.

This special networking event brings together international students and companies from across Japan that are actively seeking global talent. It is a great opportunity to learn more about various industries, interact directly with company employees, and expand your professional network in Japan.
