On Friday, May 29, 2026, from 12:15 p.m., B.S.P. Suita hosted a “Kansai Dialect Café.” A total of 16 participants attended, including 6 international students and 10 local students. During the event, participants learned about expressions and dialects commonly used in the Kansai region. When B.S.P. members from Kansai introduced unique Kansai phrases such as “Shiran kedo” (“I’m not sure though”) and “Chau chau” (“No, that’s not it”), the participants responded with laughter and enthusiasm. International students enjoyed practicing the expressions themselves while interacting with others, making it a valuable opportunity to deepen their understanding of Kansai language and culture.
